Tanecia yeah i dont personally own a ereader but i thought the exact same thing that its like a cell phone and you would have to constantly charge it constantly....but i would perfer a book..i dont know i look at coputer screens all day at work on my cell phone i dont want to then go home and look at another screen to read a book.. i guess im old fashion lol but the world is getting a little too high tech! i mean its great but can we just leave the classic's,classic? but soon enough theirs not going to be any book stores because then all the books will be sold on line and that would be terrible! its like were killing the race of books! lol im being dramatic right? my opion tho im not sayin im right...

Isabelle killing the race of books,i like the way u put it! i agree with u that is kinda tiring looking at a screen all day long, but i would get both, ebooks and printed books, and about the batery i would left it charging at night, but the prob is that i always forget to charge my eletronic stuff ^^

Jessica Dingwitz I love "old school" books. You guys are right, there's just nothing like a book in your hands. New or old. I'm addicted to buying books and filling up my bookcase. I also see the benefits of having an e-reader. Saves on money, less space, light weight which means you can take it anywhere. I can't tell you how many bags and purses I've broke since I carry so many books with me (2-5 at any given time) I guess I'm for both. lol

Alisa Actually the kindle is not back-lit so it doesn't hurt your eyes like it would your laptop. I read approx. 6-8 hours per day, almost everyday. I can't stand to stay on my computer for more than an hour before my eyes start hurting. And with all that reading, I usually have to charge my kindle about once every 3 weeks. It does use more batteries if you have Wi-Fi/3G on.
