Interesting perception. I thought her mere existence was a symbol of an evil omen in not just Marion's life, but everyone around him.
I did wonder why she was naked in the pantry at the age of 11. Perhaps she hoped to ensnare Marion, but I still don't approve of the way he almost raped her when she was ill.
