Except that she gave most of her royalties from this book to the Red Cross AND let people read it online for free. That doesn't sound like a way to sponge more money off your fans to me! Add to that the fact that she hadn't intended for this to be published, things went into motion when she gave copies to the actors before they filmed Eclipse.
