Oooh, that would be an interesting comparison! When reading Mansfield Park, I found that Fannie Price reminded me quite a bit of Jane Eyre. Is there any evidence that Bronte might have read any Austen?
I heard somewhere "Jane Eyre" is how "Mansfield Park" should have been according to Charlotte Bronte.
