The book was better than the movie, though the movie was made well but I think after reading the book and going on a fictious fantasy trip of our imagination any movie will not appeal as much as the book.
I liked it. Did ramble a bit much. Got way too much hype..people gettin upset over a work of fiction.
I agree with Debbie, the boo was over hyped. I also agree with Jennifer that the symbolism is very in your face, which can be a bit annoying depending on your purpose for reading.
I loved it and really got me in to reading again about 10 years ago, it's a must!
