I know right. I finally read it. It was not original like you said, but for some reason I couldn't put the book down.
I agree. I will say its basic romantic/fantasy trope. Boy is misunderstood. In the beginning we are told he is bad, but then we meet him and he actually has a reason for his actions. (i.e. Rhysand or Warner). Girl is weak in the beginning but never gives up. Mid ways to the end she finds out she is the strongest person to have whatever power. (i.e. Feyre or Juliette). I will continue to devour this plot until I die, but I cannot sit here an say Fourth Wing has a deep plot. I love love love that Violet is a girls girl though. Her inner thoughts crack me up lol.
