Austin Jordan I agree with you on some parts but also you have to realize they still love each other and because of this they don't see the consequences immediately. Paris played the biggest part in their deaths in my opinion because of how he pressured Juliet's family to marry Juliet to him.

Javster I agree with your statement because Romeo had to of known the consequences ahead of his plan. He was between the age where you know how to manage your life. When he thought of this plan, he should have known what was coming.

Trisha Manchala I agree with you becuase they were both too immature to know the consequences of their actions. Although there was some outside influences, thier deaths were ultimetly commited by thier own hands.

Tanisi Although I agree, it is important to recognize that this play was written in the late 1500s. Young teenagers being married and in love was not uncommon for that time period, so although they are young, I don't think it is their age that determines that their deaths were their fault. I think it is more about how they "fell in love" in the fraction of a second. They didn't even know anything about each other, so it is clear that they didn't fall in love with each other's personalities. They were just in love with each other's appearances and the idea of being in love itself.

Ibraheem I think that you should have been went more in depth about why its their own fault.

Mahek Romeo and Juliet were both affected by their failies choices, they are young they probably didn't know the long-term consequences of the their actions.
