I think that Arthur is going to escape from his world, find Alex, and break the spell on her. In "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen, the only way to break the mirror's curse is with true love. In the fifth book, there was a scene in "King Arthur" to show what was going on, and it could have been there just to show that Mother Goose is doing well, but the main focus of that part seemed to be on Arthur. Maybe my prediction is just wishful thinking, but I really think that the sixth book will have this occurrence in it.
