Hi Lara, thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to comment. Both stories focus on women who jump out of their lives and into unique circumstances in tiny villages in Europe and experience what life is like as a fish-out-of-water. I believe that some readers who enjoy that story arc would enjoy Friday in France, even though it is delivered in a completely different style. Once again, thank you for your feedback.

maybe the movie Under the Tuscan Sun is more alike to your book than the 'novel'. I have yours on my to-read list, and if my thesis doen't get too much in the way, I'll post you a review soon enough - I enjoyed what I've read about Friday in France (in spite of the alliteration in the title)
