^ Correct. If you read his other novels you will see that many nationalities play the role of the villain at some point.
A) the author is Australian
B) is this really racism? The other day I read a book by a Portuguese author: all US citizens were violent, swearing idiots and all Portuguese characters were either babes or genii... Come on guys, we're talking about fiction!
