I totally agree, her father treats her so badly! His idea is 'well she can make a laughing stock out of herself and ruin her reputation as long as she does it away from us'. He is hilarious but a terrible father!

Thanks for pointing out all the good in Lydia, or at least the potential for it. I wouldn't have seen it myself.
