I think with a good artist (like Paul Kidby), she could inject her own twists and turns without fear of alienating his current fans (too much).
A thought also occurs that with her gaming experience, an interactive novel line would be quite cool too (like the old Zork Nemesis). So many things are possible with the tools he has given.
