For the most part, I agree with your review. The annoying-ness of this book was present throughout the whole book--from beginning to end.
Maybe it's because I'm not that much of an experienced reader, but I don't see why people think the writing is annoying.
The annoying part, to me, was the constant referral to her inner goddess. Let's just say, I didn't enjoy the book or the story. And the constant drivel about "oh, he's so weird (or kinky or however you want to describe his sexual preferences), but maybe I can change him", etc. And I know I'm in the minority on this, but that is okay. Each person has their preferences and each is entitled to their opinion.
