Claire Ladds is a UK author of psychological literary fiction and short stories. Her work spans a range of genres and tones, from the emotional and introspective to the dark-edged and suspenseful.

Claire's writing is character-driven, exploring the murky depths of the psyche. She enjoys delving into the morally grey thoughts, actions and emotions of her characters, forcing them to confront their own realities. Claire is the author of several novels, including THE SECRETS THAT HAUNT US, HERS OR MINE, and the DARKER MINDS series.

Claire's short fiction has been published in literary and commercial magazines, and in anthologies. Her short story collection, THE REASON FOR EVERYTHING, houses a number of her prize- and competition-winning stories.
