Rain

Rain was the healer of the Wolfriders prior to being killed by Madcoil, father of Rainsong and Pike, and grandfather to Newstar, Wing, and Mender.

Rain is depicted as a kind healer, though not one of great power. He healed both Woodhue (One-Eye) and Rillfisher from grievous hurt, but was unable to salvage either Woodhue's eye or Rillfisher's hearing.

His son, Pike, is an anomaly among Wolfrider's as Rain was able to sire him without the aid of Recognition. He had expressed desire to bring about more Wolfrider children in this manner.

He is the first of Madcoil's victims to fall in the attack that decimated the Wolfriders.…more
