A movie star who becomes very wealthy! Early in the Stone Barrington series, Barrington escorts Arrington Carter to an event at which she and the older Calder meet. Vance and Arrington eventually marry and have a son, Peter. We first meet Vance in Beverly Hills Dead as a young man of 19 just entering the movie business. Well before Stone Barrington #24, Calder has died.
