Nuggan
Nuggan was a minor but powerful God of the Discworld. He is only widely worshipped in the small yet pugilistic nation of Borogravia. In the Discworld's polytheistic nations, he is in charge of "paperclips, correct things in the right place in small desk stationery sets, and unnecessary paperwork". The other Gods regard him as overly fussy and bureaucratic, and he is not well liked. On the evidence of his bizarre and often contradictory "Abominations" - weekly decrees dictated to his priests banning such things as chocolate, jigsaw puzzles and the colour blue - he is quite likely insane. Most of the people's faith in him has been transferred in effect to Borogravia's eternal ruler, The Duchess, and it is thought as a result that Nuggan is either dead due to lack of belief, or has been reduced to the status of a Small God.…more
