Scott Summers (Cyclops) - the X-Men's longtime undisputed leader and one of Marvel's greatest tactical combat leaders. But unknown to many, he was one of the most tragic characters in the Marvel Universe who lost his parents on a plane crash before being expiremented for his DNA (by Nathaniel Essex a.k.a. Mr. Sinister). He was later discovered by Charles Xavier and became the very first X-Man.

His love life has its ups and downs, and had two failed marriages (one of them keeps on dying on him), one of the reasons why he was, undeniably, one of the most hated characters in the Marvel Universe. Many of his critics and haters pointed out the abandonment of Madelyne Pyror and later, the Scott and Emma "psychic" affair that had cause a deep rift between Scott and his wife, Jean Grey.
