William Lee
Fredrick Douglass stayed at the home of William Lee when he visited Washington, DC. Lee helped Douglass draft a revised version of the earlier John plan to attack the South from the Allegheny Mountains. The plan was never implemented because of the successes of Sherman and Sheridan.
