Ahmed bin Shafiq

Saudi who was fired from the Saudi GID (General Intelligence Department) where he was chief of a clandestine unit code-named Group 205, responsible for establishing and maintaining links between Saudi Arabia and Islamic militant groups around the Middle East. Egypt was one of Group 205’s top priorities, along with Afghanistan. After his unit was shut down and he was forced out, he went rogue and was rumored to work with Saudi billionaire Zizi al-Bakari. In book 6 he is operating under cover names Alain al-Nasser and al-Rashheed.
