Cas Podulski

Rear Admiral Casimir ‘Cas’ Podulski, USN, is a former fighter pilot like his Pentagon colleagues and friends ‘Dutch’ Maxwell and Jim Greer. They all trained and served together and their children grew up together on Naval Station Norfolk and Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Podulski’s son Stas became a Navy fighter pilot who was shot down over Haiphong, and buried at Arlington National Cemetery, just like his friend Bobby Greer. Podulski’s wife never got over the cruel comments from anti-war protestors. Cas devises an off-the-books mission in WITHOUT REMORSE to rescue downed fighter pilot Col. Zacharias from a secret VC prison camp in Vietnam and asks his 2 friends for help.
