I found Nikki to be super hypocritical. She was so superficial and harboured a lot of the negative traits she hated in Mackenzie. She spent the entire first book whinging about how mean Mackenzie is, while tormenting her sister and writing mean, nasty things about EVERYBODY behind their backs. Sure, Mackenzie is no prized pig, but the main difference is that Mackenzie eventually gets what's coming to her. Nikki however wins at everything in the end, despite giving up when it mattered the most. Her victory feels unearned in the long run.(less)
