There series page says that the author recommends these novels be read in published order but doesn't explain (or link to) a reason why. Indeed, it nevertheless also provides a chronological list anyway. As someone who prefers to read in chronological order unless there's a VERY compelling reason not to, does anyone know of such a reason? TIA
