Why is this book marked as #3 in The Cousins' War series when Henry VI is a child in this book and in The Red Queen, which is marked as the second book in the series, Henry is an adult?

Bridget Walsh It is marked #3 because that is the order it was published in, however, chronologically it is actually #1

I liked it, but the point of view was very shallow, probably because the pace of the story was so fast. She had about twelve babies over the course of the story (I lost count) but not even one of the births was described in any detail as they were in The Other Boleyn Girl. True, the story takes place over a number of years, but Jaquetta never exhibited any deep emotion or reaction to many of the horrific sights and indignities she endured. I'll read the other two books in the series and see how they turn out.(less)

Do you feel that this series is age appropriate for a 8th grader? My granddaughter expressed an interest, but I didn't want to get it for her if it was for "mature" readers.
