It's been a while since I read Hour Game. I'm trying to read Simple Genius. Without going back and rereading Hour Game, I can't recall anything in there that would cause Michelle Maxwell to lose her nut in this book. She was in love with a serial killer. Wow. Did I totally miss that?

Robin J Baldacci has several series. In this one, I think you will certainly understand it better if you start at the beginning.

In Hour Game didn't Michelle drive a Toyota Sequoia that she called the Whale. Now she is driving a used Toyota Land Cruiser. How long has it supposed to have been? Also why do Joan and Michelle dislike each other so much?

Book #1 Split Second Michelle drives the Land Cruiser. Book #2 Hour Game she drives a Sequoia The Whale. Book #3 Simple Genius, Book #4 First Family, Book #5 Sixth Man she is back to driving the Land Cruiser. I think the Sequoia in Book #2 was an error.

As for Joan and Michelle not liking each other, I think it's just two women being catty because they both like Sean King. (less)
