Why is the 2011 Harper Perennial Modern Classics reprint edition of this book so rare and expensive? The other two Bradbury collections from the same series are available and cheap. Would've been nice to have the set.

The only reason I can think this would be the case is that they produced fewer copies of The October Country than Martian Chronicles or The Illustrated Man as it is not quite as popular as the latter two titles. Casual sci-fi fans will likely have heard of and seek out a copy of the other two in the series while The October Country seems to be one that mostly avid fans of Ray Bradbury want to own.(less)
