I haven't read anything by this author. Is it better to start with this series or the Earthsea Cycle?

This was perfect for me, and cemented her in my esteem as one of the greatest authors I have read.

Having just finished Rocannon's world--I liked it a lot, and am excited to continue the Hainish tales, but it didn't knock me out in the same way that Wizard of Earthsea and every other book in that series did.

Nevertheless, having been through Earthsea, I have total faith that the Hainish stories will grow into another realm that I will love, hopefully as much as Earthsea, if in different ways.
