does all the fear street books, when they say they take place in shadyside. are they talking about shadyside ohio?

Meg Goosebumps aren't geared towards any gender, just kids in general. Anything else by R.L. Is this series like the Goosebumps series only for a slightly older target audience? If so I really enjoy the Goosebumps series but they are a bit too "young" for me, will I enjoy Fear Street more?

Sparrow definetly. Fear street is more suspense and has more murders than monsters

Hey, I really want to use all of these books for a middle school book club, but I was wondering if they would be appropriate enough? (I mean every single Fear Street book written.) Is it clean? Too scary? What ages would you rate it for and why? And is there cursing? Thanks!
