Many other characters from this final trilogy were introduced 3, 7 or 27 books ago... So start with "Magician" and don't skip a single book from this truly marvelous saga, otherwise you will miss a lot of thrills!
And keep in mind the whole saga will get better and better, however incredible that will seem at some point, when you might think "it surely can't get better than this". :)(less)
