The book was published in 2004. I brought my last roll of film in for developing in October 2007. The narrative addresses the question of why the character isn’t ‘gone digital’ yet. Not all of us could afford to right away. Not all of us wanted to. For years, I had a CD burned to accompany my prints and I could do whatever I wanted with the photos online while still enjoying the old print method.(less)
