Are the stories within this Signet Classic abridged versions of the original works? Dracula seems awfully small in comparison to huge hard bound books of Stoker's Dracula by itself.

Scott They are unabridged. The print is small and the spacing close. Dracula runs 422 pages in the printing I have.

Can anyone tell me who the artist is, and what is the name of the painting on the cover of the December, 1978 edition? I'm referring to the one that's a bright sunset over mountains and woods. I know it's a 19th century American painter, likely from New England. I saw it in a college literature class years ago, but can't recall the details. Thanks.
