Can someone summarise the book for me please? Sorry, to be a pain, read this book a few years ago but cannot be quite bothered reading at again.... yet planning to read next book and such. ^_^ It of course doesn't need to be intricate and such, bullet points are more than fine, god I sound so spoilt and ick, but I would extremely appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't really understand why the movie is like a 99% different story than the book. I don't really think they needed to change that much. Thoughts?

Marthie Elice I agree, but I think what might've happened is they realized it was too gory for the big screen, so they changed many things and then realized they'd …moreI agree, but I think what might've happened is they realized it was too gory for the big screen, so they changed many things and then realized they'd changed so much they might as well throw away the entire script and just make it a hollywood movie. A we all know it's hard to adapt a book into a movie. I also think it's because they don't want to devalue the book, if you've seen the movie you already know what's in the book, so why bother reading it? I kind of like it ^^ Because I was nagged into watching the movie before I read the book, and I was confused and happy to realize nothing had been spoiled at all xD (less)
