Anyone else find this book overly clinical? I got bogged down in Adam's theories & experiments, studies, therapies, etc. & started skimming that & the rambling footnotes early on. (There are 25 pgs. of Author's Notes too!)

(But from a reader standpoint, I still find this ending very unsatisfying, because we waited the whole story to find out.) (less)

Did it bother anyone that such smart people jumped to silly conclusions. And washing the bloody shirt and nails? It was hard to get past that.
