Is the book any good so far because I like James Patterson and I am going to need a new book soon?

I guess it depends on what one likes. It's a tear-jerker, or at least it was for me. I'm not big into those because I already cry fairly easily. I think the only thing that slowed my reading speed for this was balling a good bit of the time.(less)
