The Lightbringer series shows just exactly how Weeks has progressed as a writer. ALL the things I hated in Way of Shadows have been resolved. It's an incredibly well-thought out series, kind of reminiscent to Brandon Sanderson.(less)

My theory on this is because it grows along with it's owner's abilities (Kip's abilities) and that it is called the Blinding Knife also because it takes away the colours that the person who was stabbed can draft while transfering them to the blade.(less)
