I read it toward the beginning of the year and it is great. You have to read the whole 7 books in the series if you read the first one. It is worth buying, in my opinion. The book is all about Lydia Goldblatt and Julie Graham-Chang living their lives and researching all the popular kids in school. As they research, they must take the information and observations they record and use them to improve themselves and become more popular, all while dealing with their own lives, like Lydia's sister Melody, Lydia's mother (Lydia doesn't have a father), and Julie's dads, plus Julie's cat, Bad Cat. Read this book!(less)
