If you get into the rest of the series, you will probably go back at some point, but The Redbreast is probably the best place to start in terms of quality of writing and importance to the remaining canon. So Tom Waaler uses this opportunity to say negative things about Harry, how he is friends with the person (Raskol) who killed Beate's father and how by supporting Harry is Beate supporting his father's killer. So she should reveal Harry's location. But Beate has none of it and says "Even if I knew where Harry was you would be the last person I would tell it."

I am also a great fan of Jo Nesbo and have just finished with Nemesis.....Onto The Devil's Star next where I have heard the Ellen Gjelten story comes to an end(less)
