I've read far more gut-churning descriptions by other authors; Malfi is not known for needless gore. That being said, there is some violence, serious injuries, and some 'bloody aftermath' type stuff. I'd say if you're squeamish, you may not like this. If standard violence common to this genre doesn't bother you, neither should this book. Happy reading!(less)
