However, he is still a human, a child, he is now tired of everything. His heart beats in hopes that everything will turn out good. The nuclear blast has made everyone lifeless. Danny just wants everything back as it once was and he wants everyone to be happy. A person's dream is basically based on what they hope for the most or what they think about the most. Danny's dream symbolizes love, hope, determination and resilience. In the beginning of his dream, everybody leaves the room, symbolizing the way his parents left him alone. Then the shadow chorus enter and crowd around Danny and trouble him, symbolizing the hard-ships he will need to face. Danny's soft and positive personality is reflected on the bunch of flowers he pull from his tatty ( worn, shabby ) sleeve. He yells at the chorus and tries to defend himself with the flowers, this symbolizes that he is strong enough to stand up for himself. ''Bright sunshine beams through the door'', after the blast, the sky was covered with massive clouds of dust for a long time, so Danny probably wishes to see the sunshine again. Bright sunshine and Happy Music symbolizes happiness, positivity and celebration. Then Mary and Richard enter, symbolizing what was too good to be true. They then make Danny sit on a chair draped with a shimmering gold cloth; which symbolizes luxury or royalty. The shadow chorus enters with food and drink; Danny probably hasn't eaten a proper meal for days, and he is being served the food and drink (how much better can it get?). Two of the shadow chorus members massage his feet while Mary strokes his head; the members massaging his feet symbolizes royalty or importance, and Mary stroking his head symbolizes calmness, when a mother strokes a child's head, it means she is trying to calm or show affection to him/her. Danny is handed a newspaper with a headline,''Peace Breaks Out'', this is what Danny wants the most in the world. Lights fade around him..something that usually shows something ending. I hope this helped!(less)
