This was my favorite book to read to my kids when they were small and it's great for you to use voice characterizations. It is interesting, cleaver and fun enough that they picked it to be read night after night and to our amazement, my first child starting voicing the dialogue from memory before he talk completely, let alone, read. I place this book high on the list of reasons why my sons could read at 12th grade level in 3rd and 4th grade, respectfully.(less)
