A memoir could be told to another person who then writes the story. Most celebrity memoirs are not written by the celebrity, but rather are told to someone else and written by a ghost writer. (less)
Kristen It's definitely a good book to read, but you don't get as much detail about the holocaust as you might with some other books. A lot of time is covered…moreIt's definitely a good book to read, but you don't get as much detail about the holocaust as you might with some other books. A lot of time is covered in a relatively short book, and a lot of the book focuses on Lisa and her music. But you do learn some about the war and hardships of both the Jewish people in Europe and others in England. It's probably not the best book to help prepare you for a class though. (less)
