I would say so, it would be pretty bad character development if she never got over her main problem (compulsive lying) and just kept lying to the reader. Then again, there's no other mention of the supernatural in this novel, and given Micah's track record theres reason to believe that she's lying to the reader about being a werewolf, she even lied about her own biological sex twice. (lied about being a boy, and then being intersex/hermaphrodite.) (less)

It does have some explici…moreIt's meant to be targeted towards high school (I think) but I feel like it's more the middle school age group than anything. It does have some explicit language but for the most part it's just tired cliches about high school and puberty lopped into the fact that we're dealing with an unreliable narrator. (less)
