How close is this to the first Shetland series? I watched it, stopped when I realized it was a book series, and now I'm reading through them. I don't want to read the book if it was close to the series.
Cynthia I watched the series first then just started reading...a couple of her books are used....the series does go off abit, different characters and such...

On page 280 in the Kindle edition, Andrew Clouston is referred to as Sandy Wilson's uncle -- but this is not explained anywhere I can find and there doesn't seem to be a connection between the Wilson (Joseph and Evelyn) and Clouston (Andrew and Jackie) families. Does anyone know how these families are related and where I might find the explanation in the book? Thanks!!
