Magic users in my world (known as Artists) can channel the power of the rushing water to intensify and strengthen their spells (known as weaves). It is also the site of some major historical events in my world. While you learn some things about it's role in the "Great War" in the book itself, I also lie a great deal about history and the "true" story is told through the Legends of the First Empire series and also Esrahaddon (Book #3 of the Rise and Fall trilogy), but that book won't be released until next year.(less)
