Was anyone else disappointed with how this book ended? was hoping for some more resolution.

I think the author gives too much credit to a 9 year old’s ability to be this manipulative and insightful. Avery read as a 16 year old, not a tween. Still loved the book though. Anyone else feel like Avery was too young to be so powerful?

Kelly I’ve taught this age group for 20 years and yes, some gifted children could really be this insightful and manipulative!

Is it only me, because I don't understand the ending. Does it seems unfinished to anyone else?
