I picked this up at a thrift store because I found the title witty, and am now discovering that it is part of a series. Can this story stand alone, or will I be completely confused as I haven't read any of its predecessors? Should I wait until I read the others before cracking it open?

Kathy I started this series out of sequence too, and found myself going back to fill in the gaps. I would recommend reading them in order.
