The book references several likely historical figures. The most obvious was Earl meeting Eric Blair (George Orwell) at a tavern. Who were the novelist he and Leets meet later on to understand the meaning of the Czech Words? And it is stated that Brix's (ex-)wife is an internationally known author. Who was that supposed to be?
