The Reverend McDermott was careful about such things. But then, he needed to be.” Those lines are our clue that he is a part of the espionage ring with Rachel, Kat, and Pierrepont. McDermott is an Irish name, so his motives may align with Kat’s. (less)

Do I need to read this series in chronological order, or can I pick up anywhere?
Usha I have not been reading it any order. Not reading it in order does lead to some frusturation but overall the series is too good to miss.
