Last book Ranger’s sheets were 1,000 thread count, this book in Chapter 5 Stephanie says they’re 300 thread count- what happened?! (Ranger’s sheets are one of the most interesting parts of this series so I need to know!)

If this were the real world, she would have been let go for "failure to show improvement". I understand not wanting to shoot people, but for crying out loud, learn to be comfortable holding a gun at the very least! Leave it unloaded if you must, but don't leave it in the cookie jar. It was cute in the first few books, but it's eye rollingly annoying at this point.

My other pet peeve regarding her bounty hunter skills is how many times she's fooled into allowing an FTA to either use the bathroom or get dressed before going peacefully. She was dooped at least twice by this tactic in this book alone. If her FTAs can learn her patterns (i.e., "I just need to take you to the police station to reschedule"), then she is fully capable of learning their tricks.

I've resigned to not expect anything but fluffy entertainment from this series, which is why I use it as a pallet cleanser between more rigorous books.(less)
