If you read my recent review, you'll see I quoted from something in the book a White House aide said to her boss: "I didn't make it up, I'm reading it here from CNN" - and we only hope the W.H. has more qualified sources at their fingertips.(less)

Let me know if this hints at a particular president -- or the current one. Authors usually pick "the other guy"...which is too predictable for the ending of the book. China's leadership is "crazy," along with some others, so I'd prefer a story describing how we learn to speak Chinese, Russian maybe one of the 3 Iranian languages. Why did you enjoy it?

So if anything, one should be questioning the hows of the decision-making process prior to setting up a war setting. I would hope that there are countermeasures on all sides to avert a major catastrophe at all times.(less)
